When we being tested by Allah

This week has been not a good one as far as my morning routine is concerned. Beginning on Monday then throughout the week, I woke up quite late, which was around 6:30. I hate it because the worst thing u do when u wake up that late in the morning is being late in offering fajr prayer. Sometimes by the time the salah is done, the sky has appeared bright. Mind u, being late in offering salah without sound reasons is not technically right. As a Muslim whose purpose of life is to worship Allah alone, we should try our best to offer our 5 daily prayers at their appointed time. One of the reasons is that we don`t know what will happen in the next minute or hour. We can be a dead person the next hour, or getting involved in an accident and get hospitalized yet we `re still in debt with Allah, which is the missed salah with a lame excuse! What should be our defense when we are asked in front of Allah in the day of judgement? Think about that people!
Okay..coming back to my original story..since I woke up late,it means I was also late leaving to the office. Hence I managed to catch up my favorite slot in Radio IKIM, which is 'Motivasi Pagi' , aired every morning from 7:30 - 740 am. It used to be 'Durul Hikmah' slot ;however they switched to the new slot due to previous minor program revamp held on Radio IKIM. dr Pahrol Mohd Joiuu was the speaker and the topic that he delivered for the short motivation slot was "When we are being tested by Allah". At first sight, this topic sounds cliche'...but the way he elaborate the topic added spices to it.
According to him, tests given to us by Allah are meant to draw us closer to Him, as well as to upgrade us to higher level in His sight should we excel in the tests. When we are facing a test from Allah, it should make us feel inferior before Allah and become much reliant on His mercy. Our body, and soul are not ours, rather it belongs to Allah. He is the sole owner and we are only His slaves whom Allah has only given temporary guardianship for the body. and soul. As an owner, realistically He has the rights to do whatever He wants on our body, be it to impose hardship and endurance. It is common among people that when they are struck by hardship, they are quick at blaming the circumstances, or worse, Allah Himself. "Why me?" is a common word coming out from mouth of people whom Allah has placed test on them. Well, this is clearly a wrong behavior. We must remember that every thing that comes from Allah never comes without purposes or wisdom. The analogy that Dr Pahrol gave was an interesting one. He gave the example of a cow that is about to be slaughtered by human. The selected cow has no right to question why was it chosen amongst other cows. So as a human, we don`t have right to challenge or disagree with Allah on His selection. In fact, if we have strong Iman in our heart, the sweetness of Imaan will prepare us to receive this in our life. Dr Pahrol further explained that we should not ever externalize our repel towards the tests even by lightest respond by feeling remorse deep inside our heart. Even by changing our routine as a reaction to the test is also considered as denying the tests. For example, if we used to be a well organized and punctual person, but when a test struck us then we leave all the habits, we are considered as countering the tests. We have to be really careful on this.

0 peeps love me on "When we being tested by Allah"
