I would like to share the rest of gems that I have in my notes from the class:
- If we don`t do sunnah prayers, we`re being injustice to ourselves. Sunnah prayers will complement our obligatory 5 daily prayers which might be lacking khusyoo`.
- Hadeeth of 7 group of people whom Allah will cast His shade onto them on the day when there is no shade but the shade of Allah:
- A just ruler/imam/head of family/any head
- A man whose heart is deeply attached to masjid (here means salaah)
- 2 people loving each other, meeting and parting for the sake of Allah
- A person who gives sadaqah with his right hand while his left hand is unaware of the action.
- A person whose tears coming down his cheeks out of fear of Allah while being alone
- A man whom being seduced by a woman to do maasi but he says : "I fear Allah"
- A youth who grows up worshipping Allah
- Tears out of fear of Allah will be the barrier between us and the hotness of the day of judgement
- In Surah Haqqah, verse 40-43, there`s a story of Umar behind it.
- The best manifestation of glorifying Allah is by making sujood.
- All the people of Jannah will be able to see Allah- the greatest gift ever. On the day of Jumaah, all Jannah dwellers will gather and listen to Allah`s recitation of Surah rahman.
- During the time of Musa A.S, if we want to make tawbah, we have to be killed then Allah will bring the life back. But for umat Muhammad pbuh, we just have to feel regret inside our heart and inshaAllah Allah will accept it.
- In Verse 10 of Surah Haqqah, messenger is mentioned as singular because all the messengers came with the same 1 message. So if we disobey 1 rasool, it is as if we disobey all of them.
