Gems from The Eternal Journey - Part 1

Alhamdulillah, The Eternal Journey Week 1 has successfully ended. Too much have been studied and learned from Sh. Reda Bedeir. This course (TEJ) is all about tafseer of Juz Tabarak, which is the 29th Juz in the Quran that consists mainly the topic of akheerah. I would like to share some gems from the course that are indeed so beneficial to all of us, inshaAllah. I am so impressed and amazed at Sheikh Reda when he quoted so many verses from the Quran just from the back of his head, complete with not only chapter numbers but also the verse numbers as well. Subhanallah

  • Imam Ahmad was asked by his son : " When shall we have rest and absolute comfort ?". Imam Ahmad`s answer was : " We will have the comfort when we have our foot in Jannah.".
  • A hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurairah that Rasulullah said : " Verily there is a chapter in the Quran which contains 30 ayaaat that will intercede on behalf of its reciter until he is forgiven. It is [ Blessed be He in whose hand is the dominion ] - Surah Mulk
  • Its` not the quran itself adorned inside car, room that gives barakah and protection, rather it is the ayaat and acting uon it that we will be protected.
  • Guidelines when making daawah
    • Gentleness
    • Mercy
    • Wisdom
  • Every time we say we wanna do something in the future, it must be followed by saying InshaAllah.
  • On the day of judgement 2 group of people will feel either extremely happy or distressed when the angle would announce that on that day death has been killed. Eternity will prevail.
  • Life starts when we start connecting with Allah. Our age could be 30 years old, but in the sight of Allah, we only have been living 3 years if we just started our connection with Allah only 3 years ago.
  • (57:20) Indeed this life is adornment and full of play. This life is only DELUSION.
  • When ALLAH gives, doesn`t mean He likes us  and vice versa when Allah denies, doesn`t mean He hates us.
  • Quality of deeds is more important that the quantity of deeds.
  • When an ayah in quran ends with names of Allah, the names chosen is relevant with the context of the ayah.
  • Allah creates universe to serve us, but Allah creates us to serve HIM.
  • When Allah mentions We in the quran, it means ROYAL WE.
  • Rasulullah said hellfire is by degree while Jannah is by darajaat.
  • Kaafir also means farmers cause farmer hides the seed inside soil. Allah mentions this in Hadid:20. Subhanallah
